One of Egypt’s most complete preserved ancient temples due to it being buried in sand for 2,000 years. Temple of Horus at Edfu, built between 237 and 57 BC, it features black granite statues of Horus(the falcon god), hieroglyphics and rows of lotus columns into two halls. the side chambers once stored offerings to the gods.
